Impact Tribal Camp

Hello all, 

Its been a crazy planning process for our inaugural Impact Cheer Camp (Impact Tribal Camp). We appreciate and love all the support we have received from you families with regards to getting your athletes to practices, organizing color teams, and best of all being so supportive of your athletes.  

Camp will be an amazing time up in the mountains and will be a great time for the athletes to all build bonds and grow together as a tribe.  Below you will find some important information for camp.  Make sure to check the packing list, food menu and travel arrangements. 

Payment – needs to be up to date by Thursday practice any outstanding balances will be charged Thursday night to ensure we are able to cover the cost of camp.

Medications – if your athlete has medications they need managed and you are not going to be in attendance please send us a list of medications dosage and times needed to take by Thursday.  Place all medication in labeled bottles in side a zip lock bag with your athletes name on it and provide it to Trey at the gym on Friday.  No medication will be allowed to be stored in the bunkhouses for safety reasons, all medications will be secured in the coaches cabin and distributed per your instructions.  If you are traveling with your athletes to camp and will be managing medication please follow the same procedure for storage as we will still want to keep the medication out of the bunk houses.  

Food Menu

Friday June 8th

Dinner @ 6 PM 

Spaghetti with meat sauce/marinara, vegetable, salad, garlic bread and cake

Saturday June 9th

Breakfast @ 8 AM

Eggs, sausage patty, bagel, cream cheese, fresh fruit, hot/cold cereal

Lunch @ 12 PM

Pizza, salad, and desert

Dinner 5 PM

Outdoor BBQ (weather permitting) hamburgers/veggie burgers, hot dogs, ranch beans, side salad, and cookies

Sunday June 10th

Breakfast @ 8 AM

French toast, bacon, fresh fruit, hot/cold cereal

Lunch 12 PM

Taco salad and churros

Food restrictions please read this! 

Camp Shadow Pines can accommodate vegetarian and gluten free options at each meal. We do provide gluten free pasta, pizza dough, breads, cereal, hot dog buns, and hamburger buns.

We always have fresh fruit, hot/cold cereal at breakfast and a salad with most dinners.

In cases of highly selective eater with specific brand preferences or an extremely restrictive diet, the camper or staff member will be asked to bring some of their own food items to supplement what we provide. This needs to be discussed with the camper’s group leader prior to their arrival to camp. We do provide a small refrigerator to be placed in their dorm room and we have a microwave in the dining hall.

Camp Shadow Pines does not cook or prepare any meals with peanuts. However, there is a vending machine on camp that might have nut products in them. We encourage the camper to be aware of this and always bring their epi-pen with them to camp.

Issues involving severely restrictive diets are the sole responsibility of parents and group leaders. Camp shall provide reasonable items as stated above.

  • Toothbrush and toothpaste 
  • Flashlight

  • Sunscreen 
  • Sleeping bag/pillow or any other BEDDING for bunkbeds 
  • Messy game clothes x2 (these may not be salvageable)
  • Pajamas
  • Athletic clothes X2 or 3
  • Please Leave cell phones at home or athletes can give them to Jenna and Trey upon arrival. There will be no cell phones allowed (this minimizes the risk of damage and or loss of devices while allowing for true interpersonal relationship building) 
  • If you need to get a hold your athlete during camp you may call Trey or Jenna at any time

    • Please Keep in mind that cell service and internet is limited and date is often non existent at the camp. 

Travel 

If you are carpooling or wanting to caravan we will be meeting at the STV gym at 1:30pm with a departure time of 2:00pm. *it is a 2 hour and 40 minute drive to camp which is located at 

Mile Marker 300 Az Hwy 260, Heber, AZ, 85928

Check out the chaperone and transportation list, if your athlete needs a ride and is not on the list please let us know ASAP!

If you are driving with your athlete and meeting at camp please plan to arrive no later then 5pm.  

NOW go out and make the color teams happen!
